Lowell's KL Series volume controls feature a keylock instead of a knob to perform volume level adjustments. This patented Lowell design (US Patent# 5,054,076) provides systems administrators with secured settings for volume level of critical paging and/or emergency systems. Additionally, these controls are advantageous for maintaining comfortable listening levels for music, paging, or masking in health clubs, entertainment and retail facilities, schools and offices of all kinds. Decora -style (two-piece) plates are available in plastic (white, ivory or black) or with a stainless steel coverplate and a plastic (white or black) subplate.

For applications that require emergency and paging signals to bypass/override the control, choose Series KL100-PA equipped with a 24VDC @ 5mA relay (see diagrams on page 2).

Models with and without priority paging option provide precise level adjustment of single or multiple speaker lines. They are compact, 1-gang Decora -style (two-piece) plate assemblies with a 100W power rating. All include easy to connect, phoenix-style plug-in screw termination strips for pre-wire convenience with wire capacity up to 14gauge. Attenuation is 3dB per step.

Accessories (optional - order separately): 2-Gang adapter plate: Model KL-ANP2 is a two gang, stainless steel one-piece plate offered to retrofit the 1-gang keylock control to a 2-gang box. Simply remove the keylock assembly from the Decora-style plate and field mount it to KL-ANP2 plate with dial scale.

Rackmount device panel: Model LD8-RMP panel with PocketIDTM is pre-punched for installing up to 8 keylock controls onto a single 3RU rackmount panel. Time saving accessory includes a rear lacing flange for wire management and a clear PocketIDTM window at the top for inserting 1/2" labels to identify control operations.
