Lowell RY-4

Lowell Models RY-2 and RY-4 are relay modules with two or four heavy duty double-pole, double-throw (DPDT) relays respectively. Each relay coil has a 5A contact rating, includes spike and polarity protection, and is independent to allow for maximum application versatility. The relay may also be field converted to AC operation by installing an electrolytic capacitor. General purpose relay Models RY-2 and RY-4 are reliable building blocks that are used in a wide variety of applications around the world. Equipment connections are made to the externally accessible three-sided barrier strips that are furnished with wire clamps. The protective steel chassis is finished in black semi-gloss powder epoxy and includes holes for screw mount installation to a wall or to pre-punched rackmount shelf Model L15-310E (order separately - see page 2). Assembly ships with connection diagram on top for easy installation. Relay module shall be Lowell Model RY-2, or RY-4 to provide 2, or 4 heavy duty DPDT relays. The relays shall have three-sided barrier strip terminals with wire clamps. The relay coils shall be independent from one another and have a contact rating of 5 Amps, 24VDC / 240VAC. The relay shall be built with spike suppression capability and polarity protection diodes on each relay coil. The relay module(s) shall be enclosed in a compact steel chassis with holes for wall or shelf mounting. The finish of the chassis shall be semi-gloss black powder epoxy.
