Details
The PSD450 from Superscope is a professional-grade recorder that's designed to give you the tools you need to enhance music practice and rehearsal. It comes with a complete set of ¼" line, RCA, and 48V phantom-powered XLR microphone inputs, plus a built-in stereo microphone. The PSD450 uses inexpensive SD card media and has a built-in 40GB hard drive, giving you plenty of recording space. You can record in compressed MP3 format or in either 16- or 24-bit high-quality WAV file format. An onboard USB port makes uploading files to your computer simple.
When you have a PSD450 on hand, a chromatic tuner and a fully adjustable metronome are never far away. A large full-color LCD screen, a simple page menu, and an intuitive control layout allow you to easily access even the advanced functions of the PSD450. You can record with A/B looping, sound-on-sound overdubbing, and punch-in and punch-out controls. The PSD450 also lets you add reverb, delay effects, and EQ, and it even lets you adjust the balance of your recordings.
Several file-editing functions, including functions to divide, combine, or trim recordings, let you manage audio before uploading it to your computer or burning it to a CD via the PSD450's CD burner. You can even prepare files you've loaded onto the PSD450 for playback via its built-in speaker. There are useful playback tools onboard the PSD450 as well, including center-channel vocal reduction, accompaniment mode, and both tempo and key controls. Because the PSD450 is small, lightweight, and able to run on AA batteries, you can take it wherever you need to record.
