Martin MaxModule Playback The Playback module extends the playback capabilities of Maxxyz by adding 10 motorized faders with 15 LCD buttons and a master Go section. Up to 16 Playback modules can be added to any Maxxyz Cerebrum, Maxxyz console or Maxxyz PC. Most lighting controllers are limited to only one format and users must adapt to it despite their lighting control needs.. Martin recognizes that a theater show has different lighting control requirements than a rock show, corporate event or large nightclub. Therefore, a radical new approach was needed. But how to offer a flexible solution that fits all these needs without producing a very expensive and large desk. The solution? Modularity! Modular Yes, modularity is the key here. With the wide variety of events and venues that a rental house or installer faces today, finding the right control system can be a tedious task. The Maxxyz Modules greatly simplify this task by allowing complete flexibility over the lighting control system. What’s more, the modular concept saves you money on your controller investment. Add additional modules as wings – a cheaper alternative than conventional desks. Swap modules within the frame, or upgrade to a larger frame to build an entirely new Maxxyz controller, securing your original investment. Tough and approachable Maxxyz Modules are designed for rough treatment during transport and shows. Modules are built of a solid aluminum construction to cope with tough environments yet feature tactile, easy-to-operate designs that suit individual users’ needs. Maxxyz Modules are built solid yet responsive to the touch. Each module comes ready to use in a Maxxyz Modules frame, table top or even a 19” rackmount. The module base also includes a 2 DMX universe port so that whenever a module is added to a system two physical DMX connections are also added. Each module comes equipped with a built-in Maxxyz PC dongle, making it a very attractive solution for rental houses who want to use the Maxxyz PC without the worry of losing the dongle. With its built-in 2 port DMX, each module is a small Maxxyz console with support for up to 32 DMX universes. Maxxyz Cerebrum Module The Cerebrum is the perfect stand-alone controller for fixed installations. Combined with the Maxxyz Manager software, it gives a complete set of tools to automate a complex lighting system. Up to 32 DMX universes can be controlled by the Maxxyz Cerebrum with two available directly from the module. Maxxyz Manager software allows for programming and triggering via time and calendar schedules, and Maxxyz Cerebrum communicates with Martin ShowDesigner 5 (MSD) software packages. Communication with MSD software packages is via a direct DMX line or through a network connection using EtherDMX and the ArtNet protocol. The Cerebrum module is a compact yet powerful touch-screen computer and the heart of the modular concept. It runs the lighting software on Windows XP Embedded which controls the Maxxyz Compact. The Maxxyz Cerebrum can also be used as a stand-alone unit for control in installations, for example in hotels or on cruise ships, and also functions as a backup system for any Maxxyz console, Maxxyz PC or other Cerebrum module. A superb performer with a powerful effects engine, Maxxyz Cerebrum can control up to 16,384 fixtures. It allows up to 1000 cuelists with motorized fader control and 1000 cuelists using playback control buttons with parallel execution of multiple cuelists. Sub-master, group master, and override functionality is included, and the Graphical User Interface is customizable. Maxxyz Programmer Module The Programmer module is the main control unit of a Maxxyz system. This module can be used with the Cerebrum or with the Maxxyz PC software. It allows the user to be quick and efficient while programming a show. Like the other Maxxyz Modules, the Programmer module comes with a built-in Maxxyz PC dongle and 2 built-in DMX ports - the perfect startup Maxxyz console. Maxxyz Button Module The Button module is a dream come true for any lighting console operator. With an ever-increasing demand for more direct access on live shows, the Button module offers up to 30 customizable direct access buttons. Each row of 10 buttons is individually assignable to cuelists, groups, fixtures or presets by the simple press of a Mode button. Each row includes 10 LCD buttons, 10 flash buttons and one scroll wheel for direct access to other banks, pages or rows. Rows can even be linked together in synch for fast changes. Furthermore, a set of 5 LCD buttons, 2 Up/Down keys and a scroll wheel provide direct access to functionalities related to each row of buttons. A convenient encoder belt gives flexible access to such features as time, speed and future options. The Button module – like the other Maxxyz Modules - comes with a built-in Maxxyz PC dongle and 2 built-in DMX ports. Maxxyz Submaster Module The Submaster module provides the user with an additional 24 handles of controls for cuelists, channels, submasters or inhibitives. Combined with a Maxxyz Cerebrum, Maxxyz Compact or Maxxyz PC, the Submaster module makes it very easy and relatively inexpensive to build a 24, 48 or even 96 fader desk with full moving light capabilities. Multiple pages of 24 faders can be recalled at any time. Like the other Maxxyz Modules, the Submaster module comes with a built-in Maxxyz PC dongle and 2 built-in DMX ports - the perfect startup theater console. Maxxyz Playback Module Using the same high quality faders and buttons as the Maxxyz Compact, the Playback module adds 10 motorized faders with 15 LCD buttons and a master Go section, extending the playback capabilities of Maxxyz. Up to 16 Playback modules can be added to any Maxxyz Cerebrum, Maxxyz console or Maxxyz PC. Like the other Maxxyz Modules, the Playback module comes with a built-in Maxxyz PC dongle and 2 built-in DMX ports - the perfect playback console. Maxxyz Frame Module The Maxxyz Frame Module can accept up to two modules of any kind (except the Cerebrum which only fits in the upper position), making it possible to combine different modules in the same frame - thereby customizing it for a specific application. The included blind plate can be used to hold a laptop or notes and paperwork. * 10 x motorized playback faders, each with one dynamically labeled LCD button (to identify/activate playback) and two function-assignable buttons * 10 x pause/back buttons * 10 x go buttons * 10 x flash buttons * 5 x LCD navigation buttons with scroll wheel * Master Go section * Built-in Maxxyz PC dongle and 2 built-in DMX ports
