Real People Here ! - theAVspot.com is one of the very few websites thats actually owned by a professional sound, lighting and video company. We're not a giant warehouse fulfillment site and we are not a national contractor that might compete with you. We are part of a communications company that specializes in designing and installing professional audio, video, lighting and data systems for a highly specialized transportation market.  The salespeople you speak with are audio, video and lighting professionals - not just order takers trying to make a quota.

Low Overhead -  we have always been careful and frugal, even before it was popular.  We double check every credit card manually and call back to make sure we arent getting a stolen card.  Other websites pass the costs of their bad transactions onto you as a percentage of your sale -  we don't let them happen.  We also own our building and our warehouse.  You arent paying for them like our competitors.  (They do have nicer buildings than we do, though)

Great Prices ! - Although we try to be the lowest, we arent always on every item.  Call us and let us know if we can do better -  we will be honest and let you now if we can.  But price is not the only thing to consider - we've been here for over 35 years and we will be here for much longer. We answer our phone day and night, and we answer your questions. We process returns on items that didn't work out for you, and we guide you to products that will. We hope if we arent the absolute lowest you will see the value we bring to your purchase and the certainty that we will be here whenever you need us.

No Shipping Games -"Free Shipping" isn't free.  Don't let the other websites kid you.  The price of shipping is added onto your item and you pay for it no matter what.  We think you are smarter than this, so we don't play that game.  We offer items at the lowest price that we can, and then use online UPS to add the real shipping charge onto your order.  We do not add a penny onto shipping charges.  Now sometimes shipping IS free though -  if you order enough that the manufacturer ships it for free, then you win. 

Values - We really want to help with whatever we can to make your experience with us a positive one. We care about you and that you purchase what you need at the right price. Our competitors have giant warehouses, huge overheads and private jets. We have low prices, people that want to know you by name and midwestern values. We Respect You - We don't play tricks with you.  We sell our products in a very simple manner - at the lowest price we can, without tricks and games to convince you to buy something you don't need.   We never add expensive finance options or insurance programs...  those are worthless and are designed to just separtate you from your money.  We try to treat you fairly and want you to do the same with us.
